In the report, Boshiran Vice President Feng Guang noted that Chinese high-end cotton pickers can compete with leading international machines in harvesting efficiency while offering a significantly lower acquisition cost. He also pointed to a high proportion of domestically produced components, shorter delivery times and faster after-sales response as reasons why Chinese agricultural machinery is increasingly meeting Central Asian customer needs.
The report also noted that Boshiran has experienced a sharp increase in overseas orders since the previous year.
For Boshiran, this growth is not simply about selling more machines. It shows that customers are increasingly evaluating a cotton picker by the overall value it can deliver throughout the harvest and across its service life—from harvesting efficiency and equipment cost to parts availability, operator training, maintenance and long-term technical support.
Founded in Xinjiang in 2009, Boshiran was among the early Chinese agricultural machinery manufacturers to enter the cotton harvester sector, achieve key technical breakthroughs and bring domestically developed cotton pickers into mass production.
More than 15 years of continuous development has given Boshiran a technical foundation that goes well beyond assembling complete machines.

Rather than offering one standard machine for every market, Boshiran can recommend configurations based on acreage, row spacing, field layout, harvesting capacity and cotton-handling requirements.
One of Boshiran's key strengths is its independent core technology, which allows the company to translate customer feedback quickly into product improvements. Technical problems can be diagnosed more directly, spare-parts supply can be coordinated more efficiently, and product upgrades are less dependent on external suppliers.
This becomes especially important during the cotton harvest, when every day of machine availability matters. A high-performance cotton picker still creates losses if a critical part cannot be supplied in time or a technical issue cannot be resolved quickly.
